Description

SIPRO has successfully applied its own numerical controls on several punching machines in the metal sheet industry both mono-punch than multiple punch, both using a single sheet of metal than coil.

In some applications extreme accuracy and extreme speed is reached thanks to the use of linear motors, gantry axes and torque motors for the punches’ axes. A great benefit is the use of Ethercat fieldbus and brushless motors with feedback from an absolute encoder and distributed wiring with IP67 modules.

The easy native interfacing of Sipro’s numerical controls with CAD/CAM through the standard ISO code makes it easier and immediate the machine programming and receiving the cutting program from the most common nesting software on the market.

The control used in these applications is the SIAX M8/T connected to an industrial PC (CO15).
